Notes
- Involved in Calculating Magic Damage, specifically as part of the (100 + Magic Attack Bonus)/(100 + Magic Defense Bonus) ratio.
- This trait affects all magic damage, including Quick Draw and elemental weapon skills
- Does not affect breath damage, which is not technically magic damage but may be elemental enough to be confusing.
- This trait has no known cap.
- Magic Attack Bonus is known to exceed 900 (Primeval Brew), so Magic Defense Bonus may as well.
- Same tiered traits do not stack, i.e. Magic Defense Bonus I from White Mage main and Magic Defense Bonus I from Red Mage Support Job.
- Enemies do not seem to have inherent Magic Defense Bonus unless they're an NM or obtained MDB from a trait
