Walkthrough

• Zone into Xarcabard to get a cutscene.
  • The Survival Guide works, as does Teleport-Vahzl.
  • You must wait until the next game day after completing the prior quest before this event triggers.
• Obtain a Scholar Testimony, dropped by Orcish Stonechuckers, Orcish Fodder, and Orcish Mesmerizers in East Ronfaure (S). (Among other orcs.)
• Travel to the Throne Room to get a cutscene at the door, then trade the Sch. Testimony to the door to start the fight.
  • All buffs are lost upon entering. Your subjob is also disabled.
  • If you have the "Rhapsody in Umber" Key Item, you are able to summon Trust Magic to aid you.
• There are 2 enemies to fight, Schultz and his Crimson Grimoire. To win, reduce Schultz to around 20% HP. (The Grimoire does not have to be killed to win.)
  • It is recommended to begin fighting quickly after entering the battlefield, since both of them will buff themselves if left alone.
  • Both of them are unsleepable or at least very difficult to sleep.
  • The Grimoire has much less HP. If you're not using Trusts, or if you're very undergeared, you you should kill it first.
  • Valaineral will likely end this fight in one shot with Uriel Blade.

Notes

• Does not need to be completed (for level limit increasing) if the player has already completed New Worlds Await or better.
