It is believed that this item gives "+1", or +1%, to the effects of each type of Macaron. So for example: Kitron Macaron gives +7 to the skill up rate and success rate, and this ring would make it +8 to both.

According to Freshly Picked Vana'diel #58 at around the 21:20 mark, it is confirmed that the effect of this ring is not received when a Macaron is eaten. Instead, it is received upon beginning a Synthesis with the ring equipped and a Macaron effect active.
