Super-(Strategy)
There are often references to "Supertanking" or "Superkiting" in FFXI strategies. These terms refer to what amounts to exploit of the game mechanics surrounding enmity and aggressive monsters.
If an Aggressive monster decides to attack a player but that player doesn't act on it in any way, they will not be on its Enmity list. Because of this, spells cast on them (like Cure) will not generate any Enmity for the caster. It allows one player to maintain absolute control over the monsters while generating no enmity at all (potentially literally doing nothing) and being healed as much as is necessary.
The two variants, Supertanking and "Superkiting," basically just depend on whether you're standing still or moving. If you're "Supertanking," generally you're standing in one place. If you're "Superkiting," then you're running away and outdistancing TP moves.
