Notes
- The monsters take enhanced damage and have very low HP; AoE weaponskills and spells can one-shot crowds.
- The monsters have extremely low attack but relatively high base damage. Using Phalanx (Status) and Defense gear will reduce damage taken to almost nothing.
Walkthrough
The objective to this assault is to massacre waves of weak Mamool Ja and their associated pets (Ziz, Bugards, Raptors, and Puks).
- In order to make the Rune of Release spawn, kill 200 monsters.
- If you hold pets and kill mostly Mamool Ja, the NM Bluethunder Kaqool Ja will spawn. He has more HP (3500?) and when defeated, drops a Blackscale Key.
- This key can be used to free the caged NPC Lumaayu at (I-6), which will spawn an additional 100 monsters.
- In the final wave of monsters, the NM Festive Firedrake spawns. Kill him to maximize AP reward.
- The Rune of Release will spawn where the player first enters the map.
Normal point return from simply killing 200 monsters in this assault is comparatively low, 666 base. By rescuing the NPC and taking on the Firedrake NM, AP return has been reported to be as high as 2303
