General Notes Changes modes between curled and uncurled roughly every 2~3 minutes. Curled: Ceases attacking. Receives ~-60% damage taken for the duration of the curl. Gains an undispellable Blaze Spikes of roughly 95~110 damage unresisted. Will immediately begin using Amber Scutum repeatedly regardless of TP. Brass Borer will do Scutum either 3 or 6 times. Alternating the count in a constant pattern. Will proceed to then use Cannonball repeatedly. For the same number of times as it performed a Scutum. Scutum can be dispelled, but Cannonball will still deal massive damage. Upwards of 1,000-1,500 to level 75 players and reaching over 3,000 to Eruca's charmed nearby. Cannonball can be absorbed with shadows. Cannonball has a very short activation time, but will only be utilized if the target is within 10'. If you manage to run out of range while kiting and receive the too far away message, it will still continue performing Cannonball until the number has been reached. Amber Scutum and Cannonball consume no TP from Brass Borer. Brass Borer will uncurl once the Cannonball attack pattern is complete. If it has TP it will then use it. Uncurled: Possesses double attack. Gains an undispellable Enfire of roughly 70~75 damage. Has access to the following TP moves: Heat Barrier: Dispelable Enfire and Blaze Spikes effect, both dealing roughly 73~78 damage. Thermal Pulse: AoE ~600+ damage and blind. Vitriolic Spray: Conal ~300-500+ damage and 10/tick burn. Vitriolic Shower: AoE ~500+ damage and /tick burn. Has the typical speed of a Wamouracampa, meaning it can be outrun without movement speed equipment. Does not lose aggro after running far away. Likely tracks by scent for this reason. Nearby Wamoura can link with Brass Borer. Susceptible to Blind, Bind, Gravity, Paralyze, Poison, Stun, and Slow. Immune to Break and Sleep. See the Discussion page for published testimonials.
