Category:Escha Rewards/Mezzotinting

All equipment in the tables above listed as "upgradable" can go through a process known as mezzotinting at the NPC Nolan in Norg. For an initial fee of 100 Escha Silt, one of four augment paths can be applied to a weapon or piece of armor. The four available augment paths are listed for each piece of equipment in the tables above, while the stat values at each rank are listed in the table below. After the item is mezzotinted, it can be enhanced through the application of Eschalixirs to add rank points (RP) to the item. This is performed by trading the item together with one or more Eschalixir/+1/+2s. Eschalixirs can be obtained randomly from normal monsters inside any Escha zone, with more and higher quality Eschalixers dropping from the various Notorious Monsters in the zones.

RP added to a piece of equipment carry over from rank to rank, so multiple ranks can be progressed at once with a single Eschalixir +2 or by trading several Eschalixirs at once.
1 Escha Silt is charged for each application of Eschalixirs to a piece of mezzotinted equipment. Unlike mezzotinted Delve gear, Escha gear may be freely swapped between augment ranks with no loss of rank, however this process costs 3000 Escha Silt to perform.
