Nightmare Monsters appear in the Dynamis areas released with the Chains of Promathia expansion. They drop "damaged" Relic Armors and Relic Accessories, along with other zone-wide drops.
The re-vamping of Dynamis included the addition of a proc system that increases the drop rate of ancient currency. For Nightmare Monsters, vulnerabilities in this proc system change based on time of day and depend on the type of currency they drop.
