Notes
- In the August 2014 update, a new feature for players to search for quests and NPCs offering tutorial objectives was been added to the above NPCs in Bastok / San d'Oria / Windurst.
- In November 2014, this was extended to include the 3 NPCs in Tavnazia, Selbina, and Mhaura.
- The Quest Guide's map icon (🔰) is called a Beginner or "New Leaves" mark.
- The icon is a standard traffic symbol in Japan. New drivers have to put a 🔰 sticker on the front and back of their car so other drivers know to be patient with them.
- Japanese video games have used this icon to mean Tutorial. Localizations often replace the icon in international releases.
