Premier Sites

The Premier Sites were officially sanctioned fan sites that Square Enix recognized in the Treasure of Aht Urhgan stage of the game's life. These outlets were even invited to the Premier Site Summits in March 2007 and July 2008. Later on, Square stopped recognizing new fan sites.
These sites included:

- Final Fantasy XI - JeuxOnLine
- FINAL FANTASY XI Stratics
- Final Fantasy XI – Online Welten
- FFVault (IGN)
- FINAL FANTASY XI Warcry
The irony that one of the premier sites was owned by one of the biggest RMT vendors at the time is pretty strong.
