Obtainment

Composite Map of SSG

• Speak to Gimb in Norg if this is your first time obtaining the key. If not, see below.
• Items required:
  • Silver Beastcoin x1
  • Mythril Beastcoin x3
  • Gold Beastcoin x1 or Unity warp.
  • Norg Shell x1
• Speak to Bou the Righteous past the "Gold Door" at (I-11) in Sea Serpent Grotto and proceed to (H-11) on the 4th map.
  • You will either need a Gold Beastcoin to get to him or to use the Level 125 Unity warp to the zone. The coin will not be lost.
    • Once behind the Gold Door, head past the Ethereal Junction and run forward to run off the proceeding cliff.
    • Once off the cliff, immediately run off the next cliff.
    • Do not run off the third cliff in front of you, instead turn south (left) and run off of that cliff.
    • Follow the left wall past the Cracked Wall into the famous Charybdis room where Bou the Righteous is standing in the corner.
    • Note: Do not leave Sea Serpent Grotto before talking to Hurr the Betrayer below. If you do, you will have to speak to Bou the Righteous again before going to the next step.
• Speak to Hurr the Betrayer past the "Silver Door" in Sea Serpent Grotto (H-3) on the 2nd map.
  • You will need a Silver Beastcoin to get to him. You may need to interact with the door multiple times before it accepts your coin.
    • Once past the Silver Door follow the path until dropping down the first cliff you see.
    • Follow the path north until you reach the room.
    • There is a cliff after this right before the room containing Hurr the Betrayer, do not drop down this or you will run in circles.
• Trade Hurr the Betrayer 3 Mythril Beastcoins and 1 Norg Shell to receive the key.

Additional Keys

  • Gold Beastcoin x1
  • Norg Shell x1
• To receive additional Sahagin Keys, you need only speak to Hurr the Betrayer off the map behind the Silver Door again and trade him one Gold Beastcoin and one Norg Shell.

Notes

• The Sahagin Key is needed to get beyond the Ornamental Door at (J-11) in Sea Serpent Grotto. The item will break upon use.
