Methods of increasing the rate of combat skill gains
Food
Equipment
Destrier Beret 10% increase.
- Latent active only under level 30.
Guide Beret 3% increase
Prouesse Ring 1% increase
Sprout Beret 3% increase
Tema. Headband 1% increase
Temachtiani Pants 1% increase
Temachtiani Boots 1% increase

Track Shirt +1 1% increase
Miscellaneous Bonuses
- Ionis - Only with the proper Edifications active, and while in Adoulin areas. See the Ionis page for details.
- Grounds of Valor - Temporary bonus to Combat Skill gains when obtaining Prowesses in a zone.
- Super Kupowers - Rate increases when Martial Master kupower is in effect.
- Moghancement: Skill Gains - Obtained via your Moogle for placing a Far East Hearth in your Mog House and having proper elemental balance. See Furnishings for more details.
Trust: Sakura - Only obtained with Cipher: Sakura. Grants an Indi-Regen Geomancy type aura bonus to combat skill gain rate.
Monster Rearing - Certain monsters raised in your Mog Garden can grant you an Experience Points Bonus with the Cheer. The Cheers are key items obtained after your raised monster reaches a certain level of happiness following particular raising pattern. The cheers also grant other bonuses toward the player's skill gain rates, stats increases, certain resistances, alter ego utility, and a few others.
Rhapsody Key Items
Rhapsody Key Items - A few key items may be obtained via the Rhapsodies of Vanadiel Missions story line. They are permanent and automatically obtained key items with no additional requirements. Each one of them provides a +100% bonus. Key Items Available by Progressing through Rhapsodies of Vana’diel
- "Rhapsody in White": +100%
- "Rhapsody in Crimson": +100%
- "Rhapsody in Fuchsia": +100%

Monthly Adventurer Campaigns
There is are multiple campaigns that may run any given month.
Combat and Magic Skill Increase Campaign
- When this Monthly Adventurer Campaign is active, Combat and Magic skills increase faster.
- These effects do stack with the bonuses from Rhapsodies of Vana'diel Key Items, as well as other methods like Armor and other effects.

Double Synthesis Skill Increase Campaign
- When this Monthly Adventurer Campaign is active, the rate of Synthesis skill increase will be doubled for the duration of the campaign.
Skill Up Books
Skill Tomes exist as usable items in-game. These books increase player's skill by 0.1-0.5 per book used. They can be purchased from the Auction House or by spending Sparks of Eminence.
