Not sure when they changed it, but just did the event for the first time, and I did not have to wear the previous rewards to get the new ones. So got the normal swimsuit, then the +1, and then got the 2024 black swimsuit as well, but I did not have to wear the previous ones.
I did have them in my inventory though, not sure if that's necessary or not, but it is not necessary to wear them anymore. --Fleetcommand (talk) 20:07, 13 July 2024 (UTC)
