About races, I don't mean to be elitist but honestly this is the only DD job where race plays a bigger role than it should normally due to souleater's reliance on the user's current and max HP, a taru loses out on 2 points and I personally feel such should be noted. - Rykoshet

exactly what haste gear are j00 talking about? i added up the omaga gear and turban and swift belt, + haste spell + DB + HAsso... it doesnt come up to 93.3% or maybe im wrong. xD just wondering is all.
The maximum Haste example is wrong... the calculation is made using Rune Chopper, but then it talks about reduction in delay of a 528 delay Scythe. Rune Chopper is not a Scythe.

Situational subs
From lvl 36-49 if you have BLU sub and your party has a powerleveller, there can be much fun had from abusing Souleater Bludgeon. Bludgeon is 3 hits and about a 5 second recast. When I did this I was able to get off 4 Bludgeons per Souleater normally, 1 time got a 5th one on a new mob coming in. You won't get 5 on one mob because it'll be dead. Got a couple chain 6's in Crawler's Nest using this. Added defense from Cocoon helps you survive and Healing Breeze makes you a backup healer while still having that crazy Bludgeon trick.
