Divine Benison Fast Cast Testing
Enmity is going to be hard to test solo on the server, but I can work out the tiers using the Fast Cast. First item was to confirm that the trait actually gives Fast Cast, which was done with Erase (15 second recast). Most of the data is not represented here, but is in an Excel document.
- Weakened/Hasso, Recast = 45 Seconds without trait or Fast Cast
- Weakened/Hasso/Level 90 Trait, Recast = 33 seconds
33 Seconds ÷ 45 Seconds = ~26% reduction, 34÷45 seconds = ~24.5% reduction.
- Weakened/Hasso/Level 90 Trait/Fast Cast +15% Atma, Recast = 30 = 33~31% reduction
This is more consistent with the trait being Fast Cast than not, though not technically conclusive. Regardless, all my further calculations would break down if this were not the case.
- Confirmed the pants are 10% Fast Cast.
- Confirmed the level 90 Trait tier is +50% Fast Cast to spells like Erase/Viruna/etc, but not Esuna. I would need a second person to test Sacrifice, I think.
- Confirmed the trait tier structure and Fast Cast potency.
- Lower tier levels were less precisely confirmed (only two points per level) because parsimony seemed to strongly indicate 10% per trait level.
That's about it. If anyone wants to test the Enmity progression with me, send a tell! --Byrthnoth 11:21, 11 September 2011 (EDT)
- Weakened/Hasso/Level 99 Trait, Recast = 33 seconds. No more Tiers ; ; --Byrthnoth 14:33, 24 November 2011 (EST)
Enmity testing
I did this testing using Wild Rabbits in W.Ron and Kaeko's Enmity numbers with a WHM and BRD. Specifically, Erase because it's the largest Enmity. Testing VE spells is somewhat tricky, but I found it to be weirdly reliable. I just had to make sure that my WHM character was out of the monster's attack radius and the monster would slightly move towards me if I broke the other character's Enmity total.
- Level 99 WHM - Monster turned at 360 Enmity difference = ~-25 Enmity
- Level 89 WHM - Monster turned at 383 Enmity difference = ~-20 Enmity
- Level 89 WHM with AF3+2 legs - Monster turned at 360 Enmity difference = ~-25 Enmity
- Level 89 WHM with AF3+1 legs - Monster turned at 360 Enmity difference = ~-25 Enmity
- Level 34 WHM - Monster turned at 481 Enmity difference = Kaeko's 480 VE was correct
At this point I'm seeing an "Enmity reduction = 1/2 Fast Cast" trend and am willing to leave it at that, considering essentially no one will be caring what the trait exactly is at 50-70 anymore. --Byrthnoth 18:08, 10 July 2012 (EDT)
