Talk:Dual Wield
From FFXI Wiki
Delay Cap Formula
So... I see no reason to include the Delay's total in that formula. It makes sense for the TP/hit formula... but for the delay cap... It's just "overly complicated" for the average user. Or at least looks that way until they actually math it themselves.
So I'm dropping them unless someone can think of a need to have them. -- FaeQueenCory (talk) 20:24, 28 April 2017 (EDT)
Level 99 Notes
- Caduceus/Rounsey Wand on 99 Dancer/Red Mage with 0 Store TP in gear gave 4.7 TP/hit (10 hits made 47 TP)
- 5+((216*.7)-180)*1.5/180 = 4.76 -> 4.7 TP/hit
- 5+((216*.65)-180)*1.5/180 = 4.67 -> 4.6 TP/hit
So Dancer still only has a base Dual Wield of 30%, no new tier at 99. --Byrthnoth 16:18, 21 November 2011 (EST)
Ninja
- Caduceus/Martial Knife should give 4.5 TP/hit with 40 Dual Wield, or 4.4 TP/hit with 41. It gives a 99NIN with Nusku's Sash 4.5 TP/hit, so they did not get any new trait.
Thief
- Caduceus/Martial Knife should give 4.7 TP/hit with 25 Dual Wield or 4.9 TP/hit with 15 Dual Wield. After 5 hits, it gave 24 TP, so Thieves still only have 15% Dual Wield native at 97.
- It gives 23 TP at 98, so they get Dual Wield III by 98. --Byrthnoth 12:44, 24 November 2011 (EST)
