Ochain Pld can very safely handle fluid spread. Probably get better dmg results from solo light CDC. Recommend haste from an outside person who won't die like trusts. - Apathy (Bismarck)
This fight isn't too terrible if you increase your Defense with Food, Minne, etc. Using Hybrid sets and boosting defense will remove a lot of the danger, but trusts not receiving Defense buffs will occasionally get popped. Valaneiral is a great tank to use here, as he can take a beating and help cure any remaining party members. Otherwise, make Fusion/Light skillchains quickly and beat it down. Miscellaneous Strategy Notes Pulled Off Main Page
- Susceptible to stun. Can be stunned for long durations with Sudden Lunge.
- Sub ninja is suggested for utsusemi to absorb Fluid Spread and Fluid Toss as it deals heavy damage to even ilvl 119 players. (Excess of 2,000 damage possible)
- SC + MB strategy works best as it has high physical damage reduction.
- Possible to be solo'd by Nin with trusts that maintain good distance from NM, but safer to be duo'd by 2 Nin skill chaining Darkness.
- Fluid Spread can be blocked so long as you have 2 or more shadows remaining, having only one when it goes off will result in you taking full damage. (Excess of 2,000)
- Is susceptible to the full range of Ninjutsu debuffs.
