Movement speed testing
I used the method from this post.
- Control (no movement speed) was 12.0~12.1 seconds to run 48 yalms in Abyssea Konschtat to Raibaht (some ups and downs)
- Test (Raptor Mazurka) was 10.7-10.8 seconds to run the same path.
Herald's gaiters (12% movement speed) also resulted in 10.7~10.8, and they're 12% movement speed, so this is 12% movement speed.
12.1/10.8 = 112%, which makes sense because speed has increased by 12%
Further tests with Herald's Gaiters confirmed that it stacks additively, giving the potency of Chocobo Mazurka when combined. --Byrthnoth 15:57, 20 June 2011 (EDT)
