Melee Strategy
My group went today with 9 people + outside BRD + SCH, but a 6 man party would definitely be sufficient.
- PT 1: WHM BRD COR COR SAM MNK
- PT 2: RUN WHM GEO GEO
GEO bubbles are Wilt/Frailty and Torpor/Vex. Torpor was only really needed for Schah as he has rather high evasion compared to his adds.
Outside BRD gave Minnes and Honor March / Ballad 3 to both parties.
Outside SCH gave Regen 5 / Embrava to both parties, however this isn't necessary.
Inside PT CORs rolled Chaos/Samurai/Tactician's/Runeist's rolls.
Inside PT BRD gave Minuet 5/4, Blade Madrigal, and Victory March.
WHM should Barfira / Baramnesra to help resist amnesia as that is the only real issue, but if melees can wear Malignance set, it hardly lands.
RUN took next to no damage with good gear sets. DDs provoke/ranged the adds as they spawn. We even had a mistake where someone grabbed Mantri early (usually left for last) and it melted. Really an unremarkable fight if people have close to BiS pieces and DDs use their hybrid. In hindsight, we probably didn't need the outside buffs anyway but we hadn't gone in a long time so we wanted to be careful.
Another strategy of course is to bring a Nirvana SMN setup, but it can be restrictive for people who don't have it to join the fight.

tank heals PUP whatever, we brought 3 people on various jobs for the clear.
Bard swap at the beginning, Nitro songs, tank supertanks Schah and adds while one DD pulls them one by one to the rest of the alliance. Gaja is not killed. Once all adds but Gaja are down, PUP grabs Gaja and just holds, do full bard swap songs- Minx2 Madx2 Marchx2 Dark Carolx2 Fire Carolx2, Bolster Frailty/Torpor, Entrust Attunement. Kill Schah, using Asylum at the start and Odyllic when that wears off if you are using a rune fencer. Charm Buffers and Moneta's Tonic are nice after Asylum/Odyllic. In 2020 this is not nearly as hard of a fight. Schah is evasive but DDs with good accuracy and hybrid/meva gear can kill him quickly. --Safiyyah (talk) 22:42, 15 November 2020 (EST)
Similar Strat as above, RUN GEO GEO COR WHM, WAR WAR SAM BRD COR WHM. Killed all adds but Gaja, which we attempted to kill but couldn't easily remove the shield. Layer on buffs/debuffs as stated above. -- 17:43, 29 September 2023 User:Peterjez
SMN Burn
Obviously, time is the critical factor here.
9 characters, 1 drop COR - 6xSMN, 1xIdris GEO, 1xEpeo RUN, 1xWHM, 1xCOR (drops after rolls)
Each SMN needs to carry at least 250k of damage. A mostly BiS but non-Nirvana SMN should be able to do 200-400k in ~13 Volt Strikes. By 17-18 as AC wears, should be dead if the damage is low.
RUN will want to Odyllic Subterfuge to lower Schah Magic Accuracy.
If Malign Invocation lands Amnesia, you'll lose AFAC attacks. Try again another time on the easy button.
If Schah catches you with Bindga while you are doing Assault/Ramuh is headed to Schah and you don't catch it in time, you'll burn critical seconds if you engage Conduit. Make sure Odyllic Subterfuge is used ASAP to more likely resist it.

6 characters - 3xSMN (non-Nirvana, but BiS otherwise), 1xIdris GEO, 1xEpeo RUN, 1xRostam COR Crooked Lucky (not XI) Beast/Drachen Rolls
Lucky with no Malign Invocation, but RUN uses Odyllic Subterfuge to lower Schah Magic Accuracy.
Bolster Idris Frailty, Dia II, Light Shot (COR was not drop after rolls), and Impact used.
Dead by VS 17 right at the 60s mark. SMNs did 390-440k each.

Pup tank strat
We had a valoredge tank Schah while the group killed the adds. Pup, Mnk, Drg, Cor, War, and Brd/whm as the main healer. The adds melted soon as they came over to the DDs. There was a near wipe due to Royal Decree's hate reset, but once we were able to get the automaton back on schah, everyone was able to get far enough away to recover. There's lots of ways to improve on this, as it was just what we had at the time. GojirasCerb (talk) 19:53, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
