Talk:Seekers of Adoulin Mission 2-1

I have proceeded up to 1-8 prior to the version update happening. When I went to talk to Levil, I was not given the mission. I am thinking it is because I have only done the ~50 coalition assignments to make my way towards getting 1-8. But did this person complete the previous mission before Sunday morning? If so, they would have clearance to being 2-1. I completed the previous mission after Sunday morning, and I am in the same boat as you are. Levil won't talk to me. Funkworkz (talk) 09:56, 10 July 2013 (EDT)

I am pretty sure I did. It has been quite a few months since I did 1-8. I don't know if the text he is giving me, "Maybe this is all in a day's work for you adventurers? I guess you've been lassoing Vana'diel's wildest afore the first bison drive." is something he'd say at the end of 1-8. If only I could remember when I last did these missions... The first line Levil told me before the "Maybe..." was "Travelers've told many a tall tale about your exploits. I guess they weren't so tall after all...", so I don't know. The consensus now is a certain number of Imprimaturs need to be used in order to proceed. If you did 1-8 prior to Sunday it debunks my theory. Funkworkz (talk) 21:44, 10 July 2013 (EDT)

I'll hold off on doing any more coalition assignments until Sunday (or do very limited number, just did 15 yesterday) and see what the outcome is. It very well may be the case that I didn't go talk to Levil after the dinner ceremony cutscene. --Demonicpagan of Asura^Talk 22:46, 10 July 2013 (EDT)

It seems the requirements are much less than stated now. My mule is level 75, has done no Adoulin quests, and spent possibly 30 Imprimaturs at most (enough to rank up at Inventor's once, but not twice). She was able to flag this now problem. --Mudcake (talk) 23:24, 24 January 2017 (EST)

• Users who don't have access to this mission need to do more coalition assignments.
  • As of 1/2018, 24 Imprimaturs used and level 2/3/4 Adoulin Fame were not enough to flag this. Level 5 fame triggered the cutscene.
    • Based on earlier reports, it's likely that as few as 15-20 Imprimaturs are necessary, provided you have appropriate reputation.

Minimum Imprimatur Theory

• Fame Level and total imprimaturs seem to affect when CS is available.
• Number of unique coalition assignments finished might be a factor here, given the wide range of testimonials and how coalition assignments are listed as quests.
• Wildkeeper Reive kills do not seem to contribute anything.
• Update: Total unique coalition assignments done appears to influence rank. Was able to reach rank 2 fame with 2 unique quests but 11 coalition assignments done. --Prismfang (talk) 18:42, 28 September 2019 (EDT)
