I would like to fill out the reset of this page, but I feel I don't have enough information. I know that Dancer gets 20% Skillchain Bonus from traits at 90. It's just a simple multiplier of the skillchain damage, separate from day/weather and (likely) affinity terms. --Byrthnoth 16:39, 10 May 2011 (EDT)
Trait Tier information
All Skillchains were just Cyclone -> Cyclone for Detonation, done in Qufim against whatever trash was nearest.
- Level 70 DNC: 136 Cyclone -> 76 Detonation : 12% bonus over expected : Skillchain Bonus II
- Level 71 DNC: 134 Cyclone -> 77 Detonation : 16% bonus over expected : Skillchain Bonus III
- Level 83 DNC: 207 Cyclone -> 119 Detonation : 16% bonus over expected : Skillchain Bonus III
- Level 84 DNC: 202 Cyclone -> 121 Detonation : 20% bonus over expected : Skillchain Bonus IV
- Level 87 SAM: 333 Cyclone -> 178 Detonation : 8% bonus over expected : Skillchain Bonus I
- Level 88 SAM: 300 Cyclone -> 168 Detonation : 12% bonus over expected : Skillchain Bonus II
- Level 94 NIN: 197 Cyclone -> 105 Detonation : 8% bonus over expected : Skillchain Bonus I
- Level 95 NIN: 242 Cyclone -> 135 Detonation : 12% bonus over expected : Skillchain Bonus II
- Level 94 MNK: 265 Earth Crusher -> 142 Detonation : 8% bonus over expected : Skillchain Bonus I
- Level 95 MNK: 247 Earth Crusher -> 137 Detonation : 12% bonus over expected : Skillchain Bonus II
At this point, it seems likely to me that this follows a similar pattern to Occult Acumen. For the moment I will just fill that in, though I intend to verify it when I can get someone to come skillchain with me or I find some Icarus Wings. --Byrthnoth 17:27, 13 September 2011 (EDT)
Level 99 Update
- DNC 97: 1163 Rudra's Storm -> 1430 Darkness on Windsday : 23% bonus over expected: Skillchain Bonus V is gimpy :,/ Going to whine on the official forums. Also, confirmed I don't have it at 96. --Byrthnoth 16:57, 21 November 2011 (EST)
- SAM 98: 1262 -> 1463 : 16% Bonus so skillchain Bonus III
- SAM 97: 1043 -> 1168 : 12% bonus so still only Skillchain Bonus II --Byrthnoth 16:23, 24 November 2011 (EST)
- DNC 58: 157 -> 87 : 10.8% bonus, so more than 8% but less than 15%, Skillchain Bonus II by 58 confirmed. This relies on Icarus Wings, so I'll have to test 57 when medicated status wears. --Byrthnoth 21:29, 25 November 2011 (EST)
