Fought at BST iLvl 119 where only the Doom & Poison Aura are a real issue. Used about a stack of Holy Water with these Trusts: Valaineral, Semih Lafihna, Tenzen II, Margret, Ferreous Coffin and Swopping Zhivago for it's Pentapeck with Amnesia, which didn't do anything to prevent its Venom Shell move. Switched to crab pets for the rest of the fight. Basic strategy: Throw pets and Trusts on it and retreat once it starts with doom. then make sure you spam holy water and let the trusts and pets take care of it. They'll die, but you can just call more pets and Tangaroa will not chase you down while in its shell with that doom aura, so you only got to take care of the adds that come for you.
