Nope! There have been no indications that augments from the random pool depend on the starting stats of the piece in any way. The DEX+3 on Haidates is an example that we actually have a picture from, iirc, and the Zenith Mitts is a conclusion we can draw because people have gotten MAB+6/7 on Blood Cuisses despite it not being one of the 1-in-4 augments. It's just part of the random pool that occurs with very very low probability. People get MAB on Heca hats too. --Byrthnoth 14:54, 8 June 2011 (EDT)
