Dunno why the page previously claimed merits add MDB, but it's definitely additional damage taken (presumably Species Damage Taken - see the Magic Damage page).
Crepuscular Worm in Cirdas: 610 Quake, capped MDT + Vallation = 244 damage. Consistent with additional 20% damage reduction after MDT. Valiance testing with 1-3 runes gives matching results. -Nightfyre
