- Tax'et begins with Damage Taken -99%.
- Damage reduction will be decreased by 1% per debuff removed after each use of Exuviation.
- Tax'et will continue to use Exuviation repeatedly as long as multiple debuffs are applied and TP feed continues.
- The healing effects of can be avoided by utilizing bard song debuffs (Nocturne, Requiem, Threnody).
- This will keep Tax'et nearly locked into using Exuviation repeatedly for the entire battle.
- Geomancy debuffs also do not cause Exuviation to heal, but will not force Tax'et to use it.
- Outside the fracture (in Ceizak Battlegrounds), the monster despawns after 20 minutes.
- Casts various fire-based spells of increasing level as HP decreases including Fire III, Fire IV, Flare, Firaga III, Firaga IV, Firaga V, and Firaja
- Uses all standard and NM Wamoura abilities including:
- Exuviation: Removes all negative status effects and regains a great deal of HP per debuff removed. Bard song debuffs will not cause this effect to heal, nor will they be removed by the effect.
- Erosion Dust: 20' AoE damage, high DoT Dia
- Erratic Flutter: 10' AoE damage, Tax'et gains a potent Haste effect
- Proboscis: Conal damage, Tax'et absorbs MP and one positive status effect
- Magma Fan: Conal fire damage
- Fire Break: Conal high fire damage
- Benumbing Blaze: <50% HP, AoE very high fire damage and Paralysis
