Dragoon Guide by Kaius of Bahamut
Weapons
Masamune (Level 119 III): With Rank 15 augment should be your best Great Katana. Great for Fudo spam or even multi step Skillchains.
Dojikiri Yasutsuna: Great Weapon for when are the only one weaponskilling a target and can do Radiance. However R15 Masa will often still do better Weaponskill damage leading to higher Skillchain numbers.
Amanomurakumo (Level 119 III) Only really good when in need of that big boost to accuracy and even then I would swap to Dojikiri Yasutsuna first. This the only REMA I never use.
Kogarasumaru (Level 119 III) When super buffed (No fighters roll) can do really well for Jinpu Spam
Shining One: Great when a mob is weak to piercing damage type. Can also be a great weapon for when a AoE Weaponskill is needed (Sonic Thrust). For Impulse drive save TP until 2000 (1750 with Moonshade earring) This or even Kaja Lance will be your best weapon to use until getting Masamune or Dojikiri Yasutsuna
Murasamemaru: Changes the damage type of Weapon Skills to be non-attribute damage.
- When it matters this is really nice to have around
Soboro Sukehiro: May be worth having around for 6 step skillchaining in omen or vagary easier
Fusenaikyo: Path B can be really nice for Subtle blow, but SAM can now hit 70 Subtle blow in gear w/o outside buffs. Path C can also be fun to swap in for Sekkanoki for that sweet WSD+100%
Skillchains
Note: denotates the need of Dojikiri Yasutsuna to continue the SC.

Sub Jobs
Samurai's best sub job will really depend on what content you are doing and what support you have. /War or even /Drk will pull ahead of others when attack is needed (Berserk/Last Resort). /DRG can offer 7WSD(More with ML+) and High Jump to help remove some enmity often the best sub if attack is capped without Berserk. Now with master level /DRG can not be over looked. Now with access to high jump and super jump this can easily be the best sub for Dynamis D.
