Getting Started as a DD WHM

Here's what I feel you need to get started. The target entry level target will be Apex Bats/Crabs/Jagils in Doh Gates as well CPing is a safe enough place to learn how to play DD WHM. So that means the goal would be to hit 1113 Accuracy, these are what I'd consider the minimum to get started. That said depending on your support and buffs some items could be changed.

Since you're DDing on WHM you can't freely swap your weapons so this set aims to get as much Cure Potency and Cure Potency II while still having a good amount of MND and Healing Magic Skill. You'll note the omission of Ebers Bliaud +1 if you're using Afflatus Solace over Afflatus Misery then swap that in for single target cures.

Note: Job points don't count toward Cure Potency needed from gear.

This is the base enhancing set which is for spells that use skill and would benefit from duration bonus to help with more potential up time on DPS. WHM has 394 Enhancing Skill which leaves 106 Skill to make up for unless you're /SCH then it would only be 80. This is the base set which is designed to maximize Enhancing Magic Duration.

For Bar Elemental spells we have to make up for the 46 Enhancing Magic from the Head/Body/Hands because Ebers' set bonus can nullify damage of the respective element. This will get you to 500 skill when using the other slots from the Base Enhancing Set.

Stoneskin +125

You cap Stoneskin (350 HP) naked with capped skill so while this is what to swap out of the Base Enhancing set you could use Spell Interruption Down gear.

This gives you 475 Stoneskin.

The TP set is designed as a hybrid set in part because it is already with Ayanmo set but also because a dead DD does 0 damage and worse a dead DD WHM does 0 damage and 0 healing.
This set assumes capped magic Haste meaning you only need DW +11.

Keep in mind this WS requires a fair amount of buffs to keep up even when using Ukaldi TP Bonus offhand. That said when you are buffed this does amazing damage so if you're in the DD party you'll be dishing out some nice Black Halos.

Windbuffet in the waist is there to give Black Halo some multi attack, initial spreadsheeting shows it wins out. Levia. Ring +1 would be better but it's only going to be used for that +1 MND.
