Yoji Fujito (藤戸ふじと洋司ようじ)

Prior to working on Final Fantasy XI, Yoji Fujito worked on Einhander (1997) as a Planner and Parasite Eve II (1999) as Quest Director.

During Fujito's long stay on Final Fantasy XI, he has worked on a number of the game's components and systems. He has worked on chat, auto-translate, calls, items, synthesis, gardening, fishing, Chocobo Raising, Chocobo Racing, Mog Bonanza, Moblin Maze Mongers, Trial of the Magians and more. He was largely responsible for the game's overall economy by 2007[1].

On December 10th, 2010 Fujito became Associate Director. From this time forward, he worked on Mog Gardens and Mog Wardrobes.

On April 1st, 2016, he replaced Mizuki Ito as Director, who had been in the role since 2010, having replaced Akihiko Matsui as Director when he shifted to work on Final Fantasy XIV.

On March 22nd, 2023, it was announced that Yoji Fujito would take over as Producer for Final Fantasy XI, with Akihiko Matsui stepping down[2].
