Avatarites are a special type of item that drop off of monsters that 80 and higher. The type of Avatarite that you can receive is based off of the day or weather, weather having higher priority and significantly boosts the frequency of Avatarite drops. Storm-type spells do not influence geode drops. Geodes and Avatarites are not mutually exclusive, monsters over level 80 are also able to drop geodes. (Although monsters do not seem to be able to drop more than one at the same time.)
Fifteen Avatarites are used to upgrade elemental Magian Trial weapons to the level 99 stage.
