Enfeeblement Kits are items used in That Which Curdles Blood (A Shantotto Ascension Mission 3). All are marked Exclusive: . They cannot be purchased or traded to other players. They can be delivered between characters on the same POL account. They are the most important items in the world because Shantotto wants one.

There are 4 different kinds. The one required for the mission is chosen at random.

• Enfeeblement Kit of Silence
• Enfeeblement Kit of Sleep
• Enfeeblement Kit of Poison
• Enfeeblement Kit of Blindness

Crafting Enfeeblement Kits Starting from Zero

• Q: Can't I just put the potion in the box?
  • A: Combining items? No, that's crazy. We use elemental crystals to bind, carve, or mix items. It's called crystal synthesis but some prefer to say "crafting".

If you're new to crafting, this will be a crash course on what you need to know to make an Enfeeblement Kit and help Shantotto take over the world!

A few points about crafting:

• You don't need to join a crafting guild in order to start crafting and skilling up.
• What joining a guild does, is allows the guild NPCs to give you Synthesis Support.
  • Synthesis Support is a free buff that increases your crafting skill by +1 for a short duration.
  • Advanced Synthesis Support is a buff that increases your crafting skill by +3 for a few minutes, but costs a few gil.
  • Skill increases will result in a higher chance of your synthesis attempt succeeding, but the buff doesn't change your skill-up rate either way.
  • If the Super Kupower "Artisan's Advantage" is active, Advanced Synthesis Support can prevent your items from being lost if a synthesis fails.
• There is no limit to the number of crafting guilds you can join, and there is no downside to joining all of them.
• We will be using Alchemy, Woodworking, and Leathercraft.
  • Alchemy skill will be raised to 8 to increase the probability of the synthesis succeeding. Depending on which kit you need, higher skill will be required if crafting the potion yourself.

First Steps

• Prepare by having Earth Crystals in your inventory.
• Go to Northern San d'Oria and buy a Woodworking Kit 5 from Cauzeriste (E-3).
• You can speak to Cheupirudaux (F-3) to join the guild, then talk to the other guild NPCs to find synthesis support.

• This recipe is Woodworking level 5. You can attempt to craft recipes up to 27 levels above your skill, but the success chance will be lower the further you are from the recipe level.
  • You could make the Enfeeblement Kit with 0 skill, but it would be risky.
• From the menu, select Items or Synthesis->Crystal Synthesis and select an Earth Crystal.
• On the synthesis menu, place the Woodworking Kit 5 and press OK.

• If the synthesis succeeded, you will have the Padded Box you need for the Kit.
  • If it didn't, buy another Woodworking Kit 5 and try again.

Leathercraft 0-5
Sheep Leather

• Windurstian Tea Leaves can be purchased in Windurst Waters (North) from Baehu-Faehu (G-5).
• Leatherworkers Guild is in Southern San d'Oria, with Faulpie (E-8) as the master. Sign up and get some synthesis support while you're crafting.
• Sheepskin can be purchased from Cletae in the guild.
• Distilled Water can be purchased from Benaige (F-7) at Raimbroy's Groceries across the street.
• Suggest making these until you're at 5 skill before moving on to the Fine Parchment.
• You can keep the Sheep Leathers if you're interesting in raising Leathercraft later.

Fine Parchment

• Parchments can be purchased in Mhaura from Pikini-Mikini(G-9). You'll need to make 2 of these, purchase accordingly.
• Pumice Stones drop in Gusgen Mines from Ghouls, Wendigos, Wights, and Ghasts.
• Once you made the 2 Fine Parchments for the Enfeeblement Kit, head over to Bastok Mines.

Alchemy Skill

• Speak to Abd-al-Raziq, the Guild Master, multiple times if necessary and join the Alchemy guild.

Black Ink

• You'll be using 2 of these on the Enchanted Ink.
• You could keep skilling up on this recipe, but there's a cheaper option next.

Tsurara

• These exotic ninja weapons were unexpectedly cheap to make. Hold up, "Tsurara" means "ice cubes".
• Benaige has both the water and the salt.
• Skill of 8 should be enough for now. At the lowest rank, you're capped at 10 skill; you'll need to be promoted to the next rank by talking to the guild master and trading him an Animal Glue. This is optional depending on which Enfeeblement Kit you're making.

Enchanted Ink

• Make sure Enfeeblement Kit of Blindness is the one that you need by talking to Abd-al-Raziq.
• Find a Blinding Potion
  • Blinding Potions can be purchased in Rabao from Scamplix for 1,104g.
  • May be found in the Auction House, listed under Medicines.
• Nothing left to make but the kit.

  • Plan A: Buy a Poison Potion from Maymunah (not automatically stocked).
  • Plan B: Kill Tonberries until they drop Poison Potion. It might be possible to Despoil them too.
  • Plan C: Continue skilling up Alchemy to 12 to make your own Poison Potion.

• If Tsurara skill-ups feel too slow, you can start switching to this for a few levels.
• Alchemy Kit 10 can be used instead, but it is a little more expensive.
• Use them or sell them.
  • Deodorize can be used to make an enemy stop chasing you by changing your smell, only if you are out of its sight, hearing, etc. range and it is tracking you by smell. It's rare to have a use for these.
