Goblin Footprints are targetable points of interest found throughout Vana'diel’s many fields and dungeons, typically nearby zone entry lines, and serve to replay event cutscenes similar to Cutscene Replay NPCs found in towns and cities. If you trade any item or gil, a Goblin; Ramblix, Grumblix, or Trailmix, will appear and offer to recall your memories so that you can rewatch cutscenes that took place in that zone. Traded items and gil are not consumed, so there is no cost. Goblin Footprints are always located at fixed, specific entrances. There are none found in town zones except Al Zahbi. Cutscene Replay NPCs are used to rewatch cutscenes that originated in city areas.
