Notes
- Added in the July 2012 Version Update.
- Due to the excitement of the possibility of obtaining a Shaper's Shawl and the difficulty in catching them, prices for Matsya were wildly out of hand for some time. They could be sold for up to 1 million each on the market on multiple servers until the fever died down.
Lore
- Matsya means "fish" in Sanskrit. Matsya is the fish avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu. It is credited with rescuing the first man Manu from the great flood in Hindu mythology after he protected and nurtured it from a small fish that later grew to such a size that only the ocean could hold it. During the flood, Matsya carried Manu's ship via a tether to the Himalayas, away from the terrible storm. It is there that Matsya reveals itself as Brahma and gives Manu the power of creation.
