Notes
- Puk Executioners are susceptible to charm.
- Because the Mamools do provide EXP when they are killed, you can expect to make 1100-1300 EXP per run, assuming Sanction and 3 members
Walkthrough
The object to this assault is to eliminate all of the Mamool Ja Executioners.
Once all the Mamool Ja are dead, the Rune of Release will spawn in the dead end room within the southeast corner of (I-7).
Note: Players without a ranged attack or magic should not fall down from the starting ledge before defeating the Mamools at (I-8) and (G-8) as there is no ramp back up to this first ledge.
The easiest order to pull is as follows:
- 1) BLU right in front of you as you exit cave.
- 2) BLU and/or WHM east of the middle hill, sometimes they are closer to the middle hill than the eastern ledge, pull as needed.
- 3) BLU and/or WHM east of the middle hill, sometimes they are closer to the middle hill than the eastern ledge, pull as needed.
- 4) South of middle hill, there is a WHM.
- 5) Keep going clockwise around the hill and you'll find a NIN to the north.
- 6) BLU and WHM west of central hill underneath the bridge.
- 7) BLU and WHM west of central hill underneath the bridge.
- 8) BLU to the south once you cross the bridge to the west.
- 9) NIN either on the ledge or on the ground to the north of the western bridge.
- 10) NIN and WHM together across the canyon and under a hut from the western bridge. Pull one at a time, they link by sight. Watch for Puk aggro.
- 11) NIN and WHM together across the canyon and under a hut from the western bridge. Pull one at a time, they link by sight. Watch for Puk aggro.
- 12) BLU north of the hut where NIN and WHM were.
- 13) BLU near the Rune of Release at (I-8), a little to the south and up on a ledge, can be a tricky pull since he often walks out of sight.
