What does "Bonuses from merits are not included in this calculation" mean exactly? I presume that it means that merits are not able to bring the stats higher than the B level skill. This needs to be reworded for clarity. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ringthree (talk • contribs) .
- No, it means that it calculates the skill increase before merits are calculated. As such, if you have 8/8 elemental merits, popping Dark Arts will raise your skill to B-, and THEN your merits will be added on top of it. As far as I can tell anyway (I only have 2/8 ele merits). --ToxictaruTC 18:30, 2 December 2007 (CST)
