After trying and failing over and over by an inactive reive... I finally went to (J-9) just north of Bivouac 2 and fished up KI on 2nd cast. I was using Ebisu rod and minnow but any rod/bait combo will probably work.

Did it at G-9 (near inactive Reive) and after a bunch of cancelled monsters I got it. Carbon fiber + Minnow which also worked for the nearby Orobon quest. --Mudcake (talk) 04:01, 8 February 2017 (EST)
