Talk:The Silent Forest
What is the battle like? What's needed to win? REMA? What jobs? What gear? I'm sure others would love to know, too, right, guys and gals? --IBHalliwell (talk) 11:41, 12 February 2020 (EST)
Fight Experience
Went as a 119 BST/DNC with Skullrneder (type c, rank 15), Arktoi (type A, rank 15), Valorous mask (Pet: STR+10, Accuracy+20, Rng Acc+20, Attack+12, Rng Atk+12, Double Atk+2%, Critical Hit rate+2%), Shulmaru collar, Sherida earring, Enmerkar earring, Valorous mail (Pet: Str+4, Accuracy+15, Rng Acc+15, Attack+12, Rng Atk+12, Double Atk+5%), Ankusa gloves+1, Varar ring+1, Varar ring+1, Arito's mantle (Accurancy+20, Attack+20, Pet: Haste+10, Acc+20/R.Acc+20/Atk+30/R.Atk+30), Klousap Slash, Valorous hose (Pet Acc+14, Rng Acc+14, Store TP+11), Ankusa gaiters +1
Food: None
Called Bouncing Betha (had Pet Food Theta ready, but didn't need it).
Trusts: Amchuchu, Mayakov, Nollurie, King-of-Hearts, and Ygnas. All trusts and pet lived.
Fight was simply long with silence on all the time (not a problem for a BST/DNC, but might be an aura).
DMG: Betha: 90,235, IBHalliwell: 24,234; Mayakov: 10,604; Amchuchu: 9,407; KingOfHearts: 8,407; Nollurie: 7,707; Skillchain(Pet): 2039; Skilchain(Ibh): 336
Most WS used: Tegmina Buffet for Betha; Decimation for IBHalliwell; SC: Fusion; KingOfHeart did Firaga IV for MB

The battle was extremely easy.
- She's basically a Lv119 Teles, but without all the extra 2hrs.
- She will Charm and Virelai.
- She also seemed to have a very high -PDT, but took normal magic damage.
I was on SMN, started with an Impact, then swapped to Ifrit when Eclipse Bite was doing garbo damage. Flaming Crush likewise did crap, but Conflag Strike was the usual damage level; so I did most of the fight with Diabolos just doing Nether Blast and Somnolence until he had 3k TP and then Night Terror.
Amchuchu had no issues tanking and living.

SMN/WHM:
Gear: Espiritus, Sancus Sachet (NQ), AF +1 head and body, Ambuscade Cape, Lucidity Sash, Evoker's Ring, Caller's Pendant; otherwise cheap base i119/99 gear.
Trusts: August, King of Hearts, Shantotto II, Zeid II, and Apururu.
Easy fight, but slow. Besides the regular buffs, Dream Shroud was helpful for magic damage, and as the person above said, Diabolos is just useful overall. Nothing felt very dangerous besides Tornado II on tank and Clarsach Call raidwide, so keep Baraera up (Earthen Armor might be wise just to be safe). Hysteric Assault hit August like a wet noodle. She uses Lunatic Voice to silence everyone frequently. Fizzy (talk) 03:12, 30 November 2020 (EST)
BLU/WAR:
Easy but annoyingly slow for a well-geared Tizona/Thibron BLU. Wish I'd set Winds of Promyvion to remove her Elegy, which she likes to spam, which made the fight take way longer due to slowed attack speed. Have Echo Drops at the ready for when she silences you; you'll need to heal yourself after she charms you and your trusts all depop. -- Aliekber (talk) 19:53, 12 August 2022 (EDT)
