veng+15 observations-

pestilent plume: conal damage and mdb down, blind, plague
deadening haze: aoe damage and silence
venomous vapor also appears to have an absorb effect if used while stat down debuffs are already applied to targets?
foul waters: target damage and blind

PLD, GEO, DNC, COR, SMN, WHM

GEO did haste and fury.

COR started with Beast and Drachen, then changed to samurai and chaos during the fight, and was able to get acceptable damage with Leaden Salute (10kish).

SMN used Garuda (predator claws: about 20k damage per).

DNC kept steps up, got up AM3, then spammed Rudra's until damage dropped, and switched to pyrrhic kleos.

Finished with about 9 minutes left.

RUN GEO SCH BLM WHM COR

GEO: Acumen + Malaise, Entrust Haste

COR: Wizard + Warlock rolls

SCH make SC, BLM MB Fire. Easier than throwing melee DD. COR save Random Deal and Wildcard to reset SCH's Stratagems.

  • SMN buffs and uses Carbuncle to erase debuffs or heal between rage timer.
  • Avoid Blunt based BPs such as Flaming Crush or Choatic Strike due to Acuex resistance to Blunt damage.
  • BLU MGs, DDs, and heals.
  • DNC Sambas, Steps, DDs, and backup cures.
  • SAM uses Tachi: Ageha at the start.

The easiset T1 NM. You can either sleep or ignore the add if you don't take a RDM. The BLU or DNC will end up with it after the heavy DDs pull hate from their damage. A powerful Addle II sees the AoE damage start doing peanuts, but even without it the BLU just uses White Wind, and the DNC backs up if needed while providing Samba and steps. Just turn the mob into a fine red mist.

There is no need to use the special buffing jobs for this NM and the rest synergize well. Feel free to take a THF, WAR, or any non-Blunt DD. --Spicyryan (talk) 12:49, 2 September 2022 (EDT)

V25

The strategy remains nearly the same as previous tiers. Bring at least two strong slashing DDs and rotate their Weapon Skill usage to avoid the cumulative damage resistance. Whether you kill an add (or both) prior to the main NM is up to your group. It is possible to push through the final 40% without killing either add. Any job can tank this, and there is not much need for healing here.

Solo V25 U Bani Supercharge Strategy

This strategy is so you can supercharge a mog amplifier. After you get a supercharge your next amplifier on v25 anything is worth 9370 RP at 6% damage. Before you start, get three Mog Amplifiers.

First job, Dark Knight; trust AAEV, Ygnas, Selh'teus, Shantotto II, Moogle

Enter & pop a reraiser and make sure your Mog Amplifier is on. Get your trust out and get bring U Bani down the ramp. I don't have Calabog so I use Ragnarok and it did the job. When U Bani is at 94% health, disengage and die! Once he moves back up the ramp, raise up and time out. Change Job time.

Second job, Blue Mage; trust August, Monberaux, Koru-Moru, Tenzen II, Cherukiki

Same thing but different. Use's Spicyryan "80 Points and 1200 JP+ Full Frontline Accuracy" spell set from his Out of Blu guide, then enter & pop a reraiser and make sure your Mog Amplifier is on. Get your trust out and get bring U Bani down the ramp. Use Savage Blade and Sudden Lunge. When U Bani is at 88% health, disengage and die! Once he moves back up the ramp, raise up and time out. Change Job time.

Last job, Warrior; trust Valaineral, Kupipi, Aricela II, Semih Lafihna, Karaha-Baruha

Same thing but different. Enter & pop a reraiser and make sure your Mog Amplifier is on. Get your trust out and get bring U Bani down the ramp. Use Savage Blade. When U Bani is at 82% health, disengage and die! Once he moves back up the ramp, raise up and time out. This time it will exit you out to Rabao and give you a message about the next Mog Amplifier you use will get more RP.

edit: on the last round I started using Valaineral instead of ArkHM. ArkHM was getting caught in-between utusemi cast and getting put in the dirt. I also changed in on the strat.

Purulent Ooze

I was able to Ooze U Bnai, but it was rather difficult to do, and I already it down to 94% by the time it landed. Took about 10 tries in full pet macc/pet lvl gear. Not really worth the effort, but FYI. --Nattack (talk) 09:03, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
