Not sure who put melee burn isn't advised, but melee works really well for this actually. That was the first way my ls cleared it, and it's extremely easy to win with trust gessho tank, geo, and 2 thf or a thf and dnc, both subbed nin. Having a real whm instead of a trust one will up your chances, but when you're doing 20k-40k rudra's and he's weak to darkness (so more than double that for skillchain damage) even if he does wild carrot it won't compete with that damage since it heals around 40k. Was able to get in at least 2-4 skillchains before he can carrot and if you're really concerned about carrots just have someone stun them, his ready time is exceptionally long for it. Can also do with NIN tank/DD and THF, GEO, WHM. Fight lasts less than 3 mins if done right. Trust me I farm this stupid guy for a harness, and still 0/30 on drops for it. Subduciton inflicts gravity and you can nuke him around the rock at #6.

RDM/NIN solo
This guy's a jerk.
- Trusts: Joachim, Ulmia, and three tanks of your choice
- Preliminary: buff your trusts with haste and refresh. buff yourself up, i used enfire. pop a reraiser, you may need it.
- Strategy:
- pop, engage, let your tanks hold while you debuff it, I used saboteur->frazzle->stymie slow->paralyze->poison->blind->distract
- I seemed to have the most trouble landing blind, so maybe stymie that one instead.
- diaga if need be, but its not necessary
- Trusts will die, you'll be alone. this is normal.
- Always keep at least two shadows up. En-death can proc on any hit, including a double attack. when he's fully debuffed he doesnt attack often but sometimes he'll get two hits on an attack round in.

my macc set was +410, forgot to use food. If using, I would suggest macc food.
