- All four Ra'Kaznar Fragments are required to access the battlefield.
- Enter the batlefieldby by using the Diaphanous Gadget #? in Sector E.
- Located up the ramp to the west of the 12 Flan room.
- If anyone in your party has a stage 4 Prime Weapon then a second option will appear when selecting the battlefield.
- Normal mode: Select "Forward!": Mesosiderite will not drop.
- Hard mode: Select "To the deepest dark!": Mesosiderite has a chance to drop only for players on stage 4.
- Warning: Aminon will be locked in hard mode for the rest of the run so make sure you select the right one.
- Always opens the fight with Incessant Void a few moments after aggro/pull. Usually after 2 melee rounds or so.
- Changes element based on TP move used.
- Demonfire : counter with water damage.
- Torrential Pain : counter with thunder damage.
- Frozen Blood : counter with fire damage.
- Ensepulcher : counter with wind damage.
- Ceaseless Surge : counter with earth damage.
- Blast of Reticence : counter with ice damage.
- Countering with any appropriate magic damage will proc .
- Even casting Elemental Magic from a subjob will do the job, and the magic does not have to do more than 0 points of damage.
- Countering with the appropriate magic damage type five times in a row will proc and remove active fetters.
- Aminon Gains -5% Damage Taken for each 30 seconds of time it remains unprocced after using a TP move.
- E.g. Demonfire is used and it will gain -5% DT for every 30 seconds that pass if not procced with a water spell or skillchain before changing elements. It will then retain the -% DT .
- The proc does not reset any existing DT accumulated, and only prevents further build.
- If Aminon stays in the same mode for too long without using another TP move then the Resistance Rank will fall to 5%.
- Bane of Tartarus will be used every 4 minutes from the start of battle again once every 4 minutes. Generally KOing all in range, (~20'+?).
- Bane of Tartarus' Death effect can be resisted with Resist Death gear.
- Procing will delay the timer on this move.
- Unlike Setting the Stage, Bane of Tartarus may be stopped by Elemental Sforzo but will still fully dispel and weaken.
- Perfect Defense and Mana Wall are also effective.
- Valiance and other effects that reduce magic damage taken will reduce the damage taken by Bane of Tartarus.
- Possessing a Ra'Kaznar Seal will reduce the power of Banes of Tartarus.[1]
- It may be possible to reduce the damage enough through DT, various magic related buffs and defbuffs (Geo-Fade, etc), and the Seal to survive with Scherzo/Migiwari/Earthen Armor, but testing is needed.
- In the event of a full wipe and recovery the timer does not stop. After three minutes have passed idle, the first move used by Aminon will be Bane of Tartarus.
- Bane of Tartarus must hit a target before the timer resets. You may not bind and run away while the timer passes.
- Bane of Tartarus can also be triggered by healing Aminon with the corresponding Elemental Magic or Skillchain damage to the last TP move used.
- In the event of a full wipe, the DT accumulated on Aminon will not be reset, even after leaving the battle area and returning.
- Aminon has a resistance ranking of 5% for any element that isn't corresponding to it's last TP move (Light, Dark, etc), a ranking of 150% for the corresponding element (Fire after Demonfire, etc), and 70% rank to it's current elemental weakness.
