The description on the equipment is somewhat misleading. If the player takes damage of the same element as their avatar then they has a chance to absorb some of that damage as MP.
- Has approximately a 20~25% proc rate, and absorbs 10% of the damage taken (rounded down) as MP.
The quest is actually started by talking to Guslam (H-8) in Upper Jeuno, but the Evoker's Bracelets are obtained from Borghertz in a cutscene at the end of the quest.
A Grotto Coffer Key is required for this quest.
