- Absorbs physical damage during TP moves and magic damage (including skillchain damage) while casting.
- Has access to Comet, Holy, Drain, and Aspir, eventually casting Impact around 60% and then switching to Comet (AoE), Meteor, Drain III, and Aspir III.
- Uses Manafont as it approaches 50%, but may use it as early as 85%.
- TP Moves:
- Stygian Sphere - Self-healing and multi-erase. Does not grant Kin a shield effect.
- Malign Invocation - AoE damage and Amnesia.
- Diabolic Claw - Single target damage and Magic Defense Down.
- Deathly Diminuendo - AoE Bio and Curse.
- Hellish Crescendo - AoE damage and Paralyze.
- Stygian Cyclone - AoE damage and Silence.
- Interference - Gains access at 25% HP. Inflicts substantial magical damage.
- Death Sentence - Inflicts a 5-second Doom effect on the player.
- Indi-Vex and Indi-Attunement do affect the land rate of Doom.
- Only used if either a NIN, PLD or RUN has hate.
- The job does not matter, Death Sentence is actually caused by one player having significantly higher Cumulative Enmity than the player below themselves on Kin's hate list.
- If you only use Volatile Enmity for keeping hate on Kin, if you avoid using spells like Flash and Foil too much, then Kin will never use Death Sentence.
- Target - Uses at 75%/50%/25%/10% HP. Causes Kin's eyes to light up but gives no discernible effect to the player, but does enable the following attack.
- Eleventh Dimension - Inflicts a 3:00 duration Terror effect on the player Target was used on. Used after 1:30 has passed since Target activation.
- The Target / Eleventh Dimension combo can be negated by a party member moving above the targeted player on Kin's Enmity list. Kin gains Damage Taken -% while Target is active so this can be difficult if the Target player has too much hate.
- Example: Player #1 is highest on Kin's enmity list and has Target used on him.
- Kin's eyes are now glowing, and Player #1 is now vulnerable to Eleventh Dimension.
- However, if Player #2 takes enmity off Player #1 Kin's eyes will stop glowing and it will consequently lose access to Eleventh Dimension.
- Kin will have to re-use Target before it gains access to that attack again.
