Solo Abyssea Red Proc Guide

Foreword
Written by Arkevorkhat.
The opinions given herein are mine alone. Some of them are probably incorrect. However, I hope this will still be useful, especially for players who are getting their first pieces of Empyrean Armor.
Generating red procs in Abyssea is an efficient way to obtain Key Items for spawning NMs in Abyssea. Another method (which will not be covered here) is Gold Chest farming. Gold Chest farming is more efficient for obtaining large quantities of NM drops for the creation of Empyrean Weapons.
See Abyssea Lights for a high-level overview on that method.
Note: This guide will not help you in the slightest with obtaining pop items that aren't KIs. Standard pop items are RNG drops. If you want to increase your chance of receiving them, use Treasure Hunter
This guide will be re-hashing some of the information in Abyssea Guide by Ohgami.
There is only one job combination that is able to perform all red proc weaponskills, and that is NIN/WAR. You can definitely do this on other combinations like WAR/NIN, or even THF/WAR. However, you will lose access to multiple weaponskills if you choose to come on one of those combinations. This won't make the method impossible, but it will make it possible for the enemy to randomly roll a weaponskill you cannot perform. If this happens, you will have to pop the NM again and retry. (My record is 4 re-attempts on Ningishzida before I got a lockstyle great sword.)
It is also very helpful to have the Abyssite of Discernment from Emissaries of God. This will do two things for you: It will tell you what kind of elemental damage the correct weaponskill deals, and it will give you feedback on correct timings for your weaponskills. There is nothing stopping you from using this method without the abyssite, however it does make it easier.

Strategy
Overall the process is fairly quick and easy.
Equip whatever atma you have that provide haste and/or multiattack and/or store-tp.
I like Atma of the Sun Eater, Atma of the Plaguebringer, and Atma of the Omnipotent, in that order.
Bring trusts that don't engage. Koru-Moru, Apururu (UC), Cherukiki, and Ulmia are all good options.
Exceptions: Check the page for the NM you are fighting. There are some NMs in Abyssea that are completely immune to melee or physical damage. You may or may not be able to proc these enemies, depending on their mechanics.
Cycle through all 9 of your weapons, performing each weaponskill on the Abyssea Red Proc list once while the NM is neither casting nor preparing a TP move. If you get through the whole list without a proc, you most likely used a weaponskill at the during a cast/prepare and will need to try again.
