Talk:Compendium of Colure: The Art of Geomancy
Heya love the guide but, could it be possible to clarify a bit better which sets are precast/midcast/idle for the various sections? It's sometimes difficult at a glance to remember which section is for each as it is without always stopping and reading in details? I also mention that split as most gearswap users would think it that way I imagine. Thanks! -- User:Neviskio 07:28, 13 August 2022 (EDT)
Looking at the Pinnacle Nuking Set I come to the following Totals: Int 262, MACC 278, MAB 413. Do you find your MACC suffers on Omen Bosses like Kei, or on Dynamis D Statues? I only ask as I am working on re-tooling my GEO for nuking and was surprised the MACC wasn't higher.
- My linkshell and I use the Magic Burst Method for Kei, which falls under a different set compared to my nuking set. As for Statues, I haven't had any issues when it comes to resists, but there are a few pieces which can be used to give additional MACC if you find yourself being resisted too often. Having various buffs do aid in successfully being able to down statues consistently with minimal issues. I do run MACC food during these events which is probably why I haven't seen many resists compared to the set without food.

" It is important to remember that you will need 900 combined skill in order for any additional Geomancy Potency, from pieces such as a Dunna or Idris, to take effect. "
This is incorrect. Even should you hae less than 900 skill, geomancy potency will still have an effect. --Chimerawizard (talk) 22:11, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
- Tested, tested again, tested a third time, and fixed the mistake on the page. Thank you for pointing this out.

Enfeebling Sets need update
Seems the Enfeebling section missed out on the Azimuth gear changes from +2/+3 -- Alexeina (talk) 13:15, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- The TL;DR Answer: Yes, the entire Azimuth +3 set compared to the Geomancy +3 set is a net gain of +10 Magic Accuracy, +12 Mind, and +28 Enfeebling Skill. If you want straight raw numbers, then yes it wins, but realistically, the stat gain is probably just going to give you a marginal edge. The only thing Azimuth set gives you over Geomancy set is -DT, but at that point, it would be more situational than intended for the guide. The best set probably lies in a combination of the two sets.
