Out of the three cities, this is certainly the easiest mega bosses. Took him on with the linkshell going basically any useful jobs they felt like.
We had one GEO with no , no CORs, and two fully geared BRD with the works. Essentially we functionally came whatever job to farm:
- RUN WHM SMN BRD SAM GEO // BRD WHM SMN THF WAR BLU // RDM
- So, not a real serious setup at all, but this fight is easy.
Bards tossed up honor, march, mad, min // wind carol x2, minne, scherzo. In hind sight, we didn't need either minne or scherzo, but we didn't need the attack or another accuracy song either so why not?
SMNs gave some buffs (then again Frod doesn't know the spell Garuda, hence the damn double marches), but then exclusively just spammed Atomos roughly every 15 seconds.
What feels like just mere moments later at ~55% we stopped DPS and tossed up Soul Voice and called for a Saboteur and Stymie silence as we went back to town. Thinking to ourselves "okay this is where it gets harder soon. The GEO tossed up Bolster too. They had been doing Frailty and Fade.
Nope. Vagina-cose Sands did nothing thanks to baraera and carols. So it was more annoying than anything with the knock back and gear removal (grip or weapon especially).
Nothing else really stood out or was crazy. Everyone had ~4k+ attack without any food or attack buffs aside from songs thanks to Atomos giving everyone Guttural Roar.
He just kept Double Punting, Roaring, and Sanding away at us to no effect. I was never doomed once, and was resisting terror from Punt as well. No dread spikes, no perfect dodges, nothing.
Our "one beer galka" GEO was actually the only one to die or hit red HP for that matter. Being a galka, we were glad he hit the floor. I mean last run he was on NIN (please, never again..) where he glitched and fell through the bridge near the AH. So death was certainly an improvement for him.
Overall, the fight took around 8 minutes including wasting a couple on putting up Soul Voice on multiple parties. Welcome to easy Kindred Medals, forget this horrible shard/void drop rate. --Spicyryan (talk) 05:46, 25 February 2018 (EST)
