Strategy

Solo SAM

SAM/RUN solo fight. Flabrax2, Barstone, Seafood Gratin for extra MEVA. When pushing through a Threshold switch to Seigan + Third Eye. Holding Meditate and Sekkanoki may help, as I got stuck a few times Kei Regening me having to wait for heals from trusts.

Stay in a MEVA hybrid set, reach preferably 4hit build, to counter lack of MA/Zanshin. Norifusa +1 could be used to keep regen off indefinitely, using Masamune was able to do 6 steps fairly consistently however. I have a Gearswap to a set with 20% more HP, which when switched to triggers trust Cures, can be used to push through a Threshold even under 2500 HP, switch to set, trigger cure to survive Dancing Fullers, Third Eye if he should immediately try to melee after fullers.

MNK, GEO, COR, BRD, Healer

4 step SC to break shield and double light, have geo dismiss bubble on any skillchain that would break a damage threshold(75/50/25/10) and monk stay in alone with cureskin up, should have about 300-500 HP to spare after eating a 2500 damage fullers. Mantra to have more extra HP if its up, but not mandatory. Extra march to counteract the slow is helpful. Magic Burst

RUN, GEO, SCH, BLM, BLM, BRD or COR/WHM or another BLM

RUN subs BLU because only shitty RUNs in Omen don't, unless they are DDing. Which you don't really do so much with a bunch of mages.

GEO uses indi focus, geo malaise, and entrusts acumen. Keeps the tank alive with the aid of a long Regen V.

BRD or COR heals if it is there.

Pretty much just ignore the objectives and burn your way up to Kei. SCH does frag and BLMs MB Element: Thunder thunder. Once benediciton has gone off the SCH should 1-hour and it burn it down. RUN should then use Gambit, Rayke, and run away from Fullers and then run back in. Very easy fight. --Spicyryan (talk) 20:20, 5 March 2017 (EST)

Kei element

There IS a way to tell when he will change his element/spikes.

Let's assume he starts off in fire, casting fire spells and blaze spikes are active. This can be easily seen and you will know he will be in fire mode. However, if he casts aero based spells WHILE in fire mode, he will change to aero mode after it successfully finishes casting. You can still cast water while he is casting so his regen won't go up, then swap to blizzard after he finishes casting.

TL;DR - he changes mode based on his last spell he successfully casts. It won't change if its the same element as his spikes of course. -- 11:45, 14 March 2017‎ Rehn
