Preface
The "Other Stuff" from Sandbox #1
If you have found this page, you are either a BGwiki mod or have stumbled onto my secret cache of notes.
A.M.A.N. Trove
- It is possible to see 9 consecutive Noise chests from both Mars and Venus orbs.
- Loud Thud's seem far more common with Venus orbs than Mars.
- Most thuds (Venus): 5 thuds + 1 loud thud
- Drops (230 Mars, 141 Venus):
- Omen body: Venus(2), Mars(2)
- Regal hands: Venus(0), Mars(1)
Ou Farming Data
- All runs with TH4 or better and mailing drops back to self
- Presumed that all gloves form a pool and are tested for first and that all other drops form a second pool
- If Regal hands do not drop, then a drop is selected from second pool

Primal Nazar NM's
- NM specific drops usually appear in the 4th slot
- For NMs such as Warder of Temperance or Warder of Mercy, the 4th slot is a chance at an Eschalixir
- This pushes the NM specific drop to the 5th slot for these NMs
- If the NM specific item does not drop, there is a chance for an Eschalixir for that slot
- This means it is possible to see anywhere between 3 to 5 Eschalixir's from the above NMs
- Courage blessing likely doubles the NM's base spawn rate (based on Rare Enemy+ Vorseals)
- Remember to reenter zone when your Vorseal wears as Rare Enemy+ is tied to this
- Piety blessing extends base Vorseal duration from 1 hour to 2 hours
- It is possible to spawn Warder NMs on mobs that you do not have claimed via AoE spells/abilities
- Unknown if Rare Enemy+ applies to the non-claimed target(s)
- Have not managed to spawn Warders while killing placeholders a height distance e.g.) nuking from the 2nd floor bridges to a mob below
Domain Invasion
- Bead amount is based off periodic evaluations
- Total amount is always in multiples of 100: e.g.) 100, 200, 300, 400, 500
- Total is capped at (500 + Luck) without Loyalty blessing (these are zone-dependent)
- Loyalty blessing doubles the base amount; i.e.) Total = (2*500) + Luck
- Three blessings are chosen at random each time a Domain Invasion dragon is defeated
- Repeat blessings will refresh the duration
- Each new or repeat blessing lasts 24 hours
- Can take many kills to receive a specific blessing, e.g.) 10+ Kills for Loyalty
- Dragon NMs take bonus damage when undefeated for long periods
- Noticed +200~250% WS Damage on Naga Raja
- Bonus damage is reset upon NM death
Mog Garden
- For interactions, the second digit in parentheses is the number of interactions made per day.
- Since the KI NPC was checked only once per day (except for Furrows), there will be a range under total interactions if this number is greater than 1.
- No additional yield items were used throughout the rank-up process.
- Note: Data below excludes introductory quest interactions.

Assault Notes
- Random tidbits from multiple runs that I never bothered to integrate into FFXIclopedia
- Now a part of an equally obscure BGWiki page
Apkallu Seizure
- Upon capturing the Apkallu, stay 2~3 yalms behind it and walk back to your destination
- Unlike Wake the Puppet, being close enough to NPC is not good enough.
- Do not stop escorting until Professor Chanoix gives confirmation dialogue.
Blitzkrieg
- Standing by the left cliff near the starting point draws monsters to you quickly
- Puks do not absorb wind damage (e.g. Subduction) but take reduced damage instead
Lost and Found
Tian Tian will initially give hot/cold messages regarding the proximity of nearby hints, monsters, and non-ring ???'s.
Note: These messages refer to the non-ring ???'s. She will fail to detect the ring ??? even if you stand on top of it.
- "Let's try something else, shall we?" / "I do not think we will find anything around here..." (No hint near)
- "Hmmm.. Perhaps we can find it somewhere around here" (Potential hint in somewhere around you)
- "No mistake about it... There is something nearby." (Potential hint is close)
- "Oh yes, it is close...very close... (See follow up message below)
- a) "But I don't think this is it." (Nothing of note or Seaweed)
- b) "Oh! There is a frighteningly powerful energy in the air here! We must be careful." (Monster is nearby)
- c) "That may prove to be a valuable hint." (??? is a hint)
Once you start obtaining hints; she will begin adding additional dialogue that refers to the ring itself
- (1 hint): Closest player to ring
- (2 hints): Direction to ring
- (3 hints): Distance to ring (in yalms)
Ring Positions (will add map later)
- (H-6) Northermost islet
- (J-8) Bridge to middle islet
- (H-8) Right outside cave
- (H-10) Westernmost spot, by rocky cliff
- (I-7) Middle of grid
Stop the Bloodshed
- Data taken from 3 runs
- Indoor chigoes tend to be within rooms and hallways/passages
- Outdoor chigoes tend to lurk behind or to the side of boxes, rocks, and other debris
- Chigoes can also be found on top of jail cells but generally avoid ramp areas
Defuse The Threat
- Data taken from 3 runs
- Recommend staying in the center of the hallways for the northern areas
- Managed to trigger bombs across walls by sticking too close there
