Doctor Remidogg is a member of Ravenloft's Shadow and an Adventurer. Doctor Remidogg is a Scholar and a White Mage who travels Vana'diel completing missions and obsesses over historical texts, lore, and Records of Eminence objectives.
Early Life
Remidogg was born in Port Bastok and worked as a Thief, achieving easy missions and like many other Galka like him, gathering minerals in Zeruhn Mines. A lowly gate guard realized his potential and sent him to the Metalworks which then led him to meet with the other ambassadors in the other Middle Lands nations as an Emissary. Remidogg had tried many jobs before he joined a linkshell.
Adventuring
Remidogg joined a linkshell formerly known as Shadow Ravenloft towards the end of it's prime. Realizing there might be a niche in healing and studying White Magics, he focused his studies on becoming a White Mage. With so few remaining active leadership members still active in 1308 (Current year as of this writing) the shell was reformed into Ravenloft's Shadow. Remidogg is a Pearlsack Holder for this linkshell.
Personal Life
Remidogg is originally from Bastok and still considers it his home but he grew very fond of Windurst after all of his travels and owns a house there in the Windurst Woods district. The weather is very favorable and so close to many schools of magic. Windurst is unparalleled with historical texts as well with it's many libraries. He is also a connoisseur of Windurstian Tea. Windurst also has prominent Cooking and Clothcraft guilds so of course Remidogg enjoys fine dining and fashion in his freetime! Especially fashion. See Style Lock
Due to his education and runt-like smaller stature, he is something of a social outcast with his fellow Galka; and despite his national and international titles, looked down on by some Humes, Remidogg feels more comfortable in another nation entirely where apartheid is less of an issue.
Remidogg is married to a Hume named Laura. They have no children.
