Waking the Beast
- Spawns during the quest Waking the Beast.
- At 75% health, he despawns and one random avatar will spawn in his place.
- Once the avatar is defeated, Carbuncle Prime returns with 75% health.
- At 50% health, he despawns again and 2 random avatars will appear in his place.
- Once the avatars are defeated, Carbuncle Prime will return with 50% health.
- At 25% health, he will despawn and the remaining 3 avatars will take his place.
- When all avatars are defeated, five Carbuncle Primes will spawn each with 25% health.
- Each Carbuncle will use Searing Light at about 1% health.
Waking the Beast ★
- There is a partial hate reset on all targets this hits.
Avatar Prime ★ Weakness System
The High-Tier Mission Battlefield Avatar ★ have four different weaknesses which may be triggered.
- The High-Tier Battlefield version Prime Avatar will have an innate damage reduction of -30% for magic, physical, and ranged damage as well as a potent en-spell effect of their element.
- Triggering the weakness will remove damage penalty or weaken the en-spell effect.
- Weakness effect varies for each Prime Avatar and is not always the same effect for the same weakness trigger.
- Once a weakness has been proced the Prime Avatar will be weakened until the use of their Astral Flow ability. They will need to be reproced after this.
- Procs will stop (stun) the current action of the avatar, and may be useful for preventing certain moves from going off.
