Category:Regen Spell
From FFXI Wiki
This page describes the Regen spells. For other Regen-applying abilities, see: Regen (Status).
Regen spells are a form of enhancing magic that gradually restores a target's HP over time. They are typically much more MP efficient than Cure Spells (especially for Scholar) and have the added benefit being castable in advance of the damage taken.
Regen spells are a mainstay of Scholar healing. All forms of Regen stack with Accession and Perpetuance, and receive large level-dependent bonuses from Light Arts (with Scholar main job only) and Tabula Rasa to both duration and potency.
|
- * Tabula Rasa overwrites the Light Arts effect. The base Regen is instead enhanced by +36 HP/tick and +72 seconds regardless of level. (e.g. At level 90+, Tabula Rasa improves over Light Arts by +12 HP/tick and +48 seconds)
Enhancing Regen
The effect of Regen spells can be enhanced in two ways:
- Increasing duration: Any equipment or abilities that increase Enhancing Magic duration in general (like Estoqueur's Houseaux +2, Composure, or Perpetuance) will also increase Regen's duration, and upgraded versions of Orison Mitts specifically increase Regen spell duration.
- For more reference check Enhancing Magic Duration for the specific formula.
- Increasing potency: Regen spell potency can be enhanced through White Mage tier 1 merit points (+1 HP/tick per merit level) and White Mage 550 Gifts (+5 HP/tick), Light Arts (from SCH main only), Tabula Rasa, or the below equipment.
- Specifically the formula to enhance potency is the following:
- (((Base Regen) + (Base Regen x Arbatel Bonnet +1 bonus)) x Embolden) + Regen Potency from Armor + Morgelai and Musa bonus.
- (floor((40 + floor(40 x 0.15) +1) x 1.7) +22) + 25 + 25 = 151 HP/tic Regen
- 175 HP/tick (151+24 from light arts) is the maximum Non-Tabula Rasa Regen V attainable.
- With Tabula Rasa 187 HP/tick is the maximum.
- Regen will stack with Embrava.
- With Tabula Rasa 187 HP/tick is the maximum.
