Duo:

BLU, WHM with AAEV, Koru, Joachim and Monberaux (paid off for AoE na). Just spammed Black Halo (16~22k) and AAEV lost hate at ~10% (equipped DT gear and turned my back to it until AAEV got hate back, kept Occultation up). Normal DPS load out on BLU. Bring a dispel (ie. Koru) for his Zealous Snort. WHM stayed ~18 yalms away. Died before a diffused Mighty Guard wore. --Dagna (talk) 01:25, 1 March 2021 (EST)

Killed with MNK, PUP, WHM with trust AAEK, Ajido-Marujido, and Ulmia with no problem. Moogle mastery XI. 4/10/21

Solo: Kenkonken PUP with Valaineral, Joachim, Ulmia, Monberaux, Koru-Moru. Replace Trusts as needed. Use VE/VE with Inhibitors, maniplugs, attuner. Keep am3 and 3 fires up and spam Shijin Spiral -> Bone Crusher. Benjaman (talk) 22:05, 18 February 2024 (UTC)

PLD, COR, MNK, PUP, RDM, WHM

PLD tanked, didnt club so he could do atonement.

COR did Chaos and Sam. did some last stands so he wasnt bored.

MNK did victory smites.

PUP used a bone crusher setup. (soulsoother head, valoredge body, optic fiber, optic fiber 2, Auto-repair 4, Maniplug, Maniplug 2, Attuner, flame holder, Turbo charger, turbo charger 2, Target marker, coiler, coiler 2) 2 light maneuver, 1 fire maneuver. Stringing pummel ws.

RDM debuff, and dispells, hastes, refreshes, and black halo. RDM dispelled anytime snort happened.

WHM healed.

pretty straight forward. PLD healed himself except during snort. Snort needs to get dispelled as soon as possible. Everyone took their own side (with COR at range) so that if enmity reset happened, only one person had to turn. Save overdrive and hundred fists until after the perfect dodge.

DRG: bring blunt weapon, Jumps to shed hate

BRD: SV Minuet x2, March, Honor March, Dirge (on DD), Sirvente (on Tank)

COR: Monk + Samurai rolls.

WHM: Auspice

NM weak to blunt damage.

Plan: Throw blunt DDs at it. Dispel/Finale after Zealous Snort.

No idea why Samurai roll instead of Chaos. Maybe for DD to deal less damage, and with Dirge and Sirvente on will have higher chance for Tank to hold hate.

Info:

Mob has high resistance to all damage except for Blunt.

He does powerful single-target attacks and Conal attacks.

He seems to be the job 'monk', and possesses a high counter rate after using the ability "Zealous Snort".

Barreling Smash can inflict heavy damage to the tank, and will likely one-shot a DD.

He will 1hr at 75% HP. People have confirmed that it can be: Perfect dodge, invisible, or Elemental Sforzo (maybe others too). After the 75% move disappears DD can use their 1hrs.

- - - - - - Positioning:

DD each fight on different sides of him in case of pulling hate. Cor / Brd can fight behind him as they're not likely to get hate.

  • If DD pull hate, turn around to let tank get hate back.

- - - - - - Specific job roles:

War: armor break -> mighty strikes /1hr, spam ‘Judgment’ after mob uses 1hr/

  • Used Loxotic Mace +1, augmented. Along with Blurred Shield +1.

Mnk: 1hr + Spam.

  • I've used Mnks with both Empy and Aeonic H2H.

Cor: Chaos/ Sam's -> savage blade Spam.

  • Cor should random deal to reset war's warcry, then wild card to try and reset 1hrs -> random deal again later for Warcry again.

Brd: Soul voice and 5 song: Haste, haste (aeonic), attk, attk, enmity down on DD and enmity up on tank -- Refresh Whm of course. -> Savage blade spam.

  • Brd can, and should, dispel the Haste buff Henwen gives himself via "Zealous Snort".

Tank: Tank stuff, does not leave -dt set even to WS.

  • Can use enmity set for initial pull.

Whm: Boost Str, etc, whm stuff.

Senkai has again detailed most of the pertinent information for this NM. As with Gigelorum, a PUP tank can be used here also. The same precautions are advised, though DDs don't have to worry about any sort of AoE damage so long as they stay behind Henwen. PLD can solo heal this NM quite easily as well, allowing for more damage dealers or support in the party.

HM Minuet x3 Dirge, Sam & Chaos Haste2's Refresh on DD's with Schere Earring.

Pretty straight up fight Kill it b4 Enmity caps. Mnk should be the 2nd on Enm list for add spawn at 75, so just disengage and be ready to move out for add.

PUPicon.gif PUP MNKicon.gif MNK BSTicon.gif BST BRDicon.gif BRD SMNicon.gif SMN RDMicon.gif RDM

RDM: Crowd controls the add, and provides buffs/debuffs. You know, RDM stuff.

BRD: Honor/Victory Marches, Dirge, Minuet, Minne.

SMN: Provides the typical buffs, and uses Carbuncle to remove hate from the MNK, and occasionally the PUP. Conduit Carbuncle in the later stages of the fight just to ensure everyone can go full speed and not be in any danger. If the PUP or MNK go down then you won't have the DPS to finish.

BST: Provides P. Ooze at the start to take off 10% HP, Killer Instinct, and C. Ooze for attack/defense down. It can also swing with a sad club. The DPS check is the issue here so that would help give the PUP and MNK a DPS cushion.

MNK: Be conscience on the battlefield. Go a little easy on the automaton at the start, but afterwards you should be set with Drige and Carbuncle.

Having a good PUP that can DD while the pet tanks is essential to this. The accuracy check is low, only around 1200 or maybe less.

PUP:
I must stress that your typical tank set and AFK PUP is not going to work, and is wasteful. With the following attachment setup below I was able to just go to town for good periods of time in a master only set. This is why the extra Armor Plate is on. Overdrive shortly after you start in order to build enmity up faster and switch over to master DD gear. Thanks to the low accuracy requirements you can smack this thing in basically any gear with some attack food, but some Heyoka +1 with its Enmity+ would provide more cushion. This is your chance to feel like Puppetmaster is perfect for once.

The above V20 strategy is still valid, though with higher Regen and a more strict DPS check, it's recommended to swap the BST out for COR (CC Chaos/Sam Rolls). MNK and PUP should coordinate Weapon Skill usage so as not to wall each other. BRD and COR can melee and Savage Blade for respectable numbers (10,000ish). You can also get really silly with the kite method, described below:

RDM PLD(or RUN) BRD COR and your choice of two Blunt DDs, MNK WAR or PUP.

Gravity II lands easily on Henwen and can be abused to simply outrange all of its TP moves and autoattacks. Dirge/Sirvente/Refresh 3 for Schere are still recommended to avoid capping enmity. The rest of the strategy remains the same as if you were fighting it straight up. DDs chase Henwen down while it chases the tank down. RDM should focus on keeping Frazzle 3/Gravity 2 on Henwen and crowd controlling adds. Magic Accuracy down can cause problems with re-applying Gravity 2, so if you bring a RUN be prepared to Rayke its Wind resistance down to help the RDM. This same kite cheese method can be applied to Gigelorum as well as Aristaeus.

Gravity Rush

Jobs: WAR MNK COR BRD RDM PLD

Assumes Nyame R20 and Master 30+, most engaged sets with max DT where possible. Does not assume Sakpata ranking.

WAR: Loxotic +1, Judgment spam using Schere earring on WS. Tomahawk. Freely use buffs. Use SPs at under 40%. Around 40% of the damage. Grape Daifuku.

MNK: Godhands R15, Howling Fist spam using Schere earring on WS. Freely use JA/SPs. Around 40% of the damage. Grape Daifuku.

COR: Naegling R15, Savage Blade spam. Regal Necklace rolls. Chaos/Samurai Roll. Use Random Deal to restore random JAs for DDs. Wild Card if needed, after WAR/BRD/MNK/PLD SPs - even better if you can time it to maximize Saboteur and Warcry. Around 10% of the damage with a great COR TP set and Savage Blade WS set. Grape Daifuku.

BRD: REAA (no Mythic here). SVCC at start. Dirge,Minuetx2, Honor March, Minne. Balladx2 for WHM, Sirvente and Ballad for PLD. No debuffs. Aeonic Dagger R0 Rudra's Storm in a BRD DD set, around 5% of the damage. Grape Daifuku.

PLD: Keep hate. Sakpata Sword and Duban. Atonement spam. Heals, JAs, etc. as needed. You probably won't need Invincible, so use it as you see fit to solidify hate- I used it during the 40% pop for a stress reliver on RDM. Shield blocks are important- walk back locked on from mobs to block whenever possible when moving. However, you can stop moving once the adds are bound/gravitied away from you, as you can choose to tank the NM moves vs. trying to out-range them by kiting. Omelette Sandwich.

RDM: Most important and stressful job. Heal and buff Haste II. Refresh the WAR and MNK. Gravity II NM and adds, bind/paralyze/slow the adds. Debuff Slow II, Paralyze II, Addle II, Dia III, Inundation the NM. Then you get a breather to just cure until the adds come out. Tropical Crepe.

The PLD slowly moves backwards and brings the NM around. Melees chase after the NM and TP/WS. Gravity II should cripple the NM/Adds speed to barely moving. Bind and Gravity II makes the adds basically not there. But a lot happens all at once to juggle, so you need to be focused. And of course you need to survive until that point. Hope for an aura like Magic Defense Down.

Pro-tip: If you aren't confident, run a single KI with RUN, DRK, WHM, PUP, GEO, THF. You should be able to drop it to 79% within 15 minutes, but I wouldn't go below 75%. This setup won't be pushing it much below that anyway.
